🛡️ PCI Institute Standards for Framework Accreditation
Establishing Trust. Enforcing Excellence. Shaping the Future of Continuous Improvement.
📌 Purpose of Accreditation
The PCI Institute exists to protect the integrity, impact, and advancement of Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies by formally accrediting frameworks that meet rigorous predictive, operational, and ethical standards.
Accreditation signifies that a framework is:
- Consistent with PCI Institute’s mission of responsible innovation
- Aligned with outcome-based principles
- Designed for enterprise adaptability.
- Built on sound data intelligence
✅ Accreditation Criteria
To be considered for PCI Accreditation, a framework must demonstrate the following six pillars of compliance:
1. Predictive Intent
- Uses forward-looking models to drive continuous adaptation
- Shifts from reactive to proactive performance drivers
2. Integrated Human-AI Collaboration
- Establishes clear human oversight mechanisms
- Establishes clear human oversight mechanisms
3. Signal Responsiveness
- Incorporates data signals into strategic decision-making
- Prioritizes signals over noise using structured filtering logic
4. Scalable Across Enterprise Functions
- Proven adaptability across operations, strategy, and improvement teams
- Includes modular tooling or frameworks that scale with complexity
5. Outcome-Driven Metrics
- Aligns performance tracking with business-level impact (not just activity)
- Enables measurable ROI and operational leverage
6. Ethical & Secure
- Promotes transparent logic, secure data handling, and responsible use
- Does not enable black-box decisioning or unexplainable outputs
🔍 Evaluation Process
Frameworks seeking accreditation must complete a 3-step review:
| Stage | Description |
|---|---|
| 1. Initial Screening | Submit whitepaper, toolkit overview, and use case alignment |
| 2. Expert Panel Review | PCI-accredited evaluators assess compliance with criteria |
| 3. Live Evaluation | Demonstrate use cases or pilot results aligned with PCI’s 6 pillars |
Each stage is scored independently, with a minimum cumulative threshold for passing.
🧠 Accreditation Tiers
- PCI Accredited Framework™: Full compliance with all six pillars
- PCI Compliant Framework™: Partial alignment, approved with limitations
- Pending Evaluation: Under review; public accreditation not yet granted
🥇 Currently Accredited Frameworks
The following frameworks have achieved full PCI Accreditation:
- AI-6X™ – Predictive CI Framework (First Fully Accredited)
- SDI™ – Sustainable Data Integration for Lean Operations (Under Final Review)
Additional frameworks may be evaluated and accredited upon request or submission.

🔐 Use of Certification & Licensing
Only PCI-accredited frameworks are eligible for certification programs, training partnerships, and PCI-endorsed licensing models.
PCI Institute reserves the right to revoke accreditation for non-compliance with standards.
The PCI Framework Accreditation Guidelines are reviewed annually. PCI Institute is the governing authority for Predictive Continuous Improvement (PCI) and related domains of operational excellence.
